Brendan F asked:

I have noticed distinct personality changes with this combo.. Namely:

-less talkative
-sense of always moving in “slow motion” :slow thoughts, everything looks “slow”, feels “slow”, shift in vision: like im looking at a 2D movie
-feelings of intense detachment
-often unresponsive to enviroment
-frequent anger
-less intense “ups”, but less intense “downs”
-frequent crying
-little desire to socialize
-increased self esteem
-increased appetite

any ideas? how much of this could be medication related, how much is more likely just me? any similar experiances, any one take this combo. or notice similar changes from either? all input is appreciated. thanks.

For female asthmatics: do you get “premenstrual asthma”?

Actually, that’s not accurate; it makes it sound like the asthma only occurs before one’s period does. *chuckle*

What I mean is, if you already are a person with asthma, do you ever have an increase in symptoms a few days before your period? This happens to me every few months: I have a slight chest tightness on-and-off (especially upon waking up), and I get slightly “winded” doing things that normally wouldn’t make me out of breath.

When it happens, my doctor gave me the green light to double my daily dose of QVAR (beclomethasone dipropionate), an inhaled steroid.

I’m pleased to say I’ve found a surprising amount of data online that supports the existence of premenstrual asthma flare-ups in some women (a hormone connection, of course!) However, I’ve never actually known anyone it happens to. So, I’m asking the ladies here. :)
Does this happen to you? If so, what symptoms? Also, if you don’t mind telling me, what is your age? (This never happened when I was younger).
