About twice a week i will take my imipramine medicine and I will get the most terrible throat pain immediately in the bottom of my throat. My eyes burn, ears hurt, neck swells and it feels like I am pouring salt on an open wound in my throat. I will have a sore throat for that night and for the next day. I take lots of liquids when i take the pills so i know the pill is not getting stuck in my throat. I know this is really a specific question but if anyone has experienced something like this i would love to hear about it.
Imipramine is the only medicine i have ever taken and caused pain. Feels like salt on sore throat.

Also no results on Seroxat, could explain the change to a Trycilic. Have been told i’ll probably experience side effects, have had none on the SSRI’s.

-feelings of intense detachment
