My doctor prescribed both together and my pharmacist didn’t counsel me on either medicines even though they are new but when I was looking them up online together, I saw a few sites that said to inform your doctor if you are taking Nortriptyline (Pamelor) if being prescribed Adderall or other stimulant medications. None of the websites expained why or what affects the two combined medications could have. Does anyone here take these two medicines daily? Can you tell me if you have any reactions to them good or bad? Please….

I have noticed distinct personality changes with this combo.. Namely:

-less talkative
-sense of always moving in “slow motion” :slow thoughts, everything looks “slow”, feels “slow”, shift in vision: like im looking at a 2D movie
-feelings of intense detachment
-often unresponsive to enviroment
-frequent anger
-less intense “ups”, but less intense “downs”
-frequent crying
-little desire to socialize
-increased self esteem
-increased appetite

any ideas? how much of this could be medication related, how much is more likely just me? any similar experiances, any one take this combo. or notice similar changes from either? all input is appreciated. thanks.

—-My skin, everyday cuts n bruises take a day or so longer to heal. skin looks slightly more transparent and splotchy on limbs and face (Skin usually covered by clothing much more opiate. Around my eyes are darker and dryer (I’m aware of sleep deprivation effects)
—-My endurance is very limited, I’m 5′9 at 150lbs. Always been a sprinter, But recent months I get tired quick, I feel the same strength and power only 5-10 minutes or rest later, but its not too efficient, and annoying to stop n go stop n go.
—-My heart beats hard and fast, the chance of an arrhythmia concerns me and is not only possible but common in Amphetamine use and abuse. So i would like to improve my cardio.
—-Headaches,They occur maybe twice to 3 times a month and are most painful at the top of my head and sometimes above the right ear. They usually are the start of a crash and soon after severe exhaustion takes the course. anything that could reduce those would be nice/(anything that reduces crash symptoms) …..=)
—-Minor Hand tremors, extremely annoying and frustrating. Someone suggested meditation and exhaling slow, it works but is temporary relief. They occur in general when my blood gets moving and hot, I’d like to know why and ways n tricks of reducing these side effects.

Currently taking

Adderall IR 30mg 2-3 times daily
Imipramine 100mg at night
Folic Acid 800 mcg in the morning with food
Flax Seed Oil 1000mg 2-3 times daily with food
Vitamin E 400 IU (iono what UI means o.O) 2-3 daily with food
Cod Liver Oil - 2-3 times daily with food

I just tested positive for pregnancy today.
I’m really worried because last week I was still taking Adderall (3 days) & also taking muscle relaxer and pain medication (3 days)
The drugs were called CYCLOBENZAPR & TRAMADOL.

Counting backwards, it looks like I was taking these medications 1 week after ovulation.

Could this have been harmful for the baby?
