I AM a virgin and don’t plan on losing my virginity any time soon. I’m just wondering what the chances are of the morning after pill actually not working, because on Y!A I see people saying “why didn’t you take the morning after pill?” very often. Thxx.

I’m not quite sure, but I do know that my sister’s friend got pregnant at 17, and she used the morning after pill, goes to show that not everything in life is guaranteed :)
    Edit:
By the way, good for you, for keeping your virginity :D good luck and God bless :)

it only works when you take it the day of the sex or the day after the sex hence the name lol but stupid people that take it 3 or 4 days later and think its gonna work it wont because you baby believe it or not is already growing and it wont kill the baby

The pill works by preventing a fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus walls. So after a day or two, the egg has likely already attached, and the pill does nothing.

its something like 80 - 90% effective (so no substitute for the pill or a condom which are around 99%) but that figure drops and after 3 days (72 hours) it is pretty much ineffective.

I would always recommend taking it if you think there is any possible chance plan A never worked.
