   aloe vera?
   Plant, you can cut it open (butterfly ) and lay it on a wound.

   Aloe Vera doubles the rate of healing for cuts and minor burns.

   Works on:

   Scrapes, cuts
   Some small rashes (like an anti-cortisone)
   Sunburn, 1st degree burns

   Maybe what your thinking of is aloe vera, it’s an actual plant, but I think there are also medicines and beauty products that contain aloe vera.

   Aloe vera might be helpful for MINOR cuts and burns, but it is not recommended for major cuts or wounds.

   Do you really want to be rubbing an unknown amount of an unknown dosage of an unknown pharmaceutical ingredient in to your skin? And you want to leave those “unknowns” up to the folks at Yahoo Answers? Here’s an idea - either do real research on homeopathy to the extent that you know what you’re putting in to your body, or play it safe and use actual medicine if you are actually injured.
