Looking for a way to get on short term disability. I have Lupus, Thyroid and Fibromyalgia.

    Which form of Lupus?
Discoid - not a chance. Systemic lupus, you have my sympathy.
Thyroid conditions are mostly treatable so that you can lead a relatively normal life
Your GP or Consultant should be able to back your Application for Disability status.

If you have a short term disability policy through your work or another source, go read the policy.

Social security disability does not have a short term option. Doctors have to say that you are incurable and disabled for life or that you are dying. You have to be out of work for 6 months before they will consider your case.

I would consult a disability attorney. It’s very difficult.
